This week we are taking a look back at this beautiful wedding we had at Morgan Manufacturing. For style purposes, this couple wanted to host their wedding in a unique warehouse space but when it came to decor, they were more attracted to a lighter, almost vintage inspired look. Here’s what we did to achieve that look!
For the ceremony, first of all, this couple had a blended ceremony of both Christian and Jewish traditions. With that said, we worked with the team to create a simple, yet elegant ceremony space. Using the industrial style chairs at Morgan, juxtaposed with the lucite risers with floral clusters and candles on them, it really created a beautiful, soft, yet lofty feel for the ceremony.
We also wanted to create interest with our place card table. The bride came up with this great idea to use black paper stock with gold writing. This was a great way to have the guests enter the dining room and was such an unusual yet stunning entrance!
For dinner,we worked with the team to help create a vintage inspired look in a few ways. The first was the floral. We used all wooden rectangular tables but by positioning some of them horizontal and others vertical, we were able to create interest in the loft just with that!
From a floral perspective, we used what we call collection style pieces. These are deconstructed floral pieces that are in various height vases mixed in with candle light, candle sticks so for forth. By selecting a bold color table runner and napkin, we really were able to accentuate the wood in the table and pop the color in the floral. Finishing the design with string lights, really made the room come together!
